Oetker Collection working with e-Learning WMB on a Food Hygiene Training
e-Learning WMB will be working with Oetker Collection, on an innovative approach of an e-learning course concerning food hygiene.
The shooting will take place in one of the Masterpiece hotel, situated in the heart of London, the Lanesborough. The training will be available via the web or a series of mobile apps.
The learning experience is aimed at anyone who would handle food within a catering or hospitality environment. Typically this would include working in hotels, cafes, bars, restaurants, kitchens, fast food outlets, catering in hospitals, schools and colleges. The training will be broadly in line with the EU Regulation 852/2004 Hygiene for Foodstuffs, which requires that anyone involved in food handling must be appropriately trained in handling food safely.
The creative and enthusiastic culinary team will welcome the shooting crew in his kitchen.
The training will be separated into four modules in line with the Food Standard Agency’s advice covering:
- Cross Contamination
Best practice will be demonstrated with the help of The Lanesborough Hotel team in each of these areas by use of videoed team members embedded into the e-learning via e-Learning WMB's unique 'e-learning meets corporate video' approach to online training. The training will be available worldwide and will bring global attention to the excellent work carried out in the kitchens of one of the world's finest hotels.
The course will be shared at no cost amongst all e-Learning WMB member organisations when released (expected August 2016) and then on general release for sale to non-members.
