e-Learning in HTML5, Flash, Apps or Virtual Reality (VR)

App Distribution

e-Learning Apps can be distributed as Apple IOS or Android courses.  For the first time Adobe Flash e-learning content can run on iPhones, iPads and Android mobiles and tablets.

Apple Distribution

Standard Apps via the App Store

Standard Apps can be directly downloaded from the App store.  This option enables users to enter their user name, password and e-Learning Management System URL which logs them directly into their e-learning account.  Any courses downloaded locally onto the iPhone from the App Store can then be run off-line.

Standard courses are not customised and inform users about e-Learning WMB's products and services.  To remove this option it is necessary to purchase customised Apps.

Customised Apps via the Volume Purchase Program

The Volume Purchase Program from Apple is a way of distributing e-learning as Apps in bulk for your organization. Whether your workforce uses iPhone, iPad, or Mac, you can provide great content that’s ready for work with flexible and secure distribution options.

The advantage of a customised App is that it will contain your company's branding and automatically link to your organisation's Learning Management System so there is no need for your users to remember their e-learning web address.  Customise Apps can be distributed in the same way as the Standard App.  Apple requires us to charge for this service per App.

Android Distribution

Standard Apps via the Google Play Store

Standard Apps can be directly downloaded from the Google Play store.

Standard Apps via Email or Web Link

As Android is an open platform it can be distributed to your users either through email or a direct download link.  However, the installation process will start automatically only if users have configured their Settings to allow the installation of Apps from unknown sources.

Customised Apps via Google Play Store

The Play Store allows you to download Apps directly from the Google Play store.  The URL to the store's link can be sent to the user and downloaded directly to their phone.

This is the easiest way to distribute Apps into your organisation.
